This is a place to enjoy active elements of play, while also being able to recharge your physical and emotional batteries in a rejuvenating environment. You’ll have opportunities to enjoy hiking, swimming, exploring, and so much more; while also meditating in nature under the stars or relaxing at the spa. Stretching over 178 acres of varied landscape (think: hills, valleys, water), you’ll find us tucked away in Hill Country, TX but just minutes away from beer gardens, wineries, restaurants, Pedernales Falls State Park, the town of Drippings Springs, and an hour from the wineries and antique shopping of Fredericksburg. Madrone Springs Ranch only hosts one group at a time, you will have the ranch all to yourselves.

The Creek and Hiking Trails
Take advantage of 2/3 miles of all-year-round, natural water where you can swim, float, and play in multiple pools throughout Flat Creek. Floats provided.

Six miles of private trails for all abilities. Enjoy Biking, Bird Watching, Hiking, Trail Running, and Wildlife Viewing. Hiking poles are provided.

The Lodge
Stay active and sweat it out in our private healing spa wing with a fitness center and yoga studio. Take a dip in the spa/hot tub overlooking the creek, relax in the sauna, take a cold plunge (if you are adventurous), and find peace through meditation. The fitness center has a private bathroom with a shower. Towels provided.

Hot Tub
Our Luxury Master Spa comfortably seats 8 people and is the perfect place to end the day with a glass of wine or a cocktail.

The Jacuzzi Infrared 4 Person Sauna is a great activity for those looking to detox and destress. Some benefits of infared sauna include: Improved heart health, Soothing sore muscles, Pain relief, Relaxation, Fighting off illness, and promoting restful sleep.

Cold Plunge
The Renu Cold Plunge is maintained at a brisk 50 degrees. Cold plunging can relieve pain, aid exercise recovery, and boost your mood.

Access to Ranch Hosts
The hosts, Gail and Bobby, live on the property and will be as involved or invisible as you wish for them to be. The hosts are happy to provide guided tours of the ranch, the animals, and the hiking trails upon request.

Optionally, the Bobby and Gail will host Happy Hour with Cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres for you in The Lodge.

Optional Experiences
The hosts can arrange, as available, Massages, Instructor Led Yoga, and Private Chefs.

Accommodations
Madrone Springs Ranch accommodations consist of three separate structures, The Ranch House, The Mini Cabin, and The Lodge, all connected by walking paths just a couple hundred yards apart.

The Ranch House
Perched on the edge of the canyon overlooking Flat Creek, this upscale 2,200 sq. ft modern rustic lodge includes 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths with enough space to comfortably sleep 8-10 people (3 kings, 3 twin XLs). You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen, 2 wood-burning fireplaces, outdoor gas & wood grills, a large deck, and an outdoor shower. With easy access to the creek and hiking trails, you can choose to enjoy reading a book on the porch listening to the soothing water of the creek or surround yourself with groves of trees.

Living Room
The living room is the heart of this home, with its large windows providing 180-degree views of Flat Creek below. Our large comfortable sectional sofa is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the birds or warm yourself by the fire.

The unique window seat perches over the cliffs of flat creek and is the best place to watch a sunset or curl up with a book.

You’ll have access to a studio kitchen. This space is the perfect solution for teenagers, a nanny, or other guests who want their own private space away from the Ranch House, but still be nearby.
